Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 may return to the Night Battle Version Rebirth Island
Warmwork Miner RealityUK recently revealed that the sixth season update of "Call of Duty: War Zone" is likely to bring a nightly version of the classic map "Rebirth Island". Although the specific launch date of the sixth season has not been officially announced, it is expected to be released simultaneously with "Black Ops 6" in mid-to-late October, which will also be the final season of "Black Ops 6" - the new series "Black Ops 7" is scheduled to be released on November 14.
Since the launch of "War Zone" in 2020, few works have comparable to the influence of Rebirth Island and Ferdansco on many maps. Rebirth Island has become a favorite player with its fast-paced resurrection mode. Although the developer has rotated to launch maps such as Wealth Guard, Ashiro, and District 99 to keep it fresh, Rebirth Island has always been the first choice for players in Rebirth mode. The return of this night version is expected to ignite the enthusiasm of players again.
In 2021, Activision introduced the night version of Rebirth Island through the "Fourdansco Destruction Incident", but this version has not appeared since then. According to RealityUK's Twitter leak, this beloved version will return gloriously in a major season six update. Although the specific launch time (early or mid-season) is not specified, the data indicates that the relevant files may have been implanted into the game.
The current Rebirth Island is the only playable resurrection mode map in War Zone, but this situation may change with the arrival of Black Ops 7 season one. Industry insider TheGhost OfHope revealed that the new resurrection map will incorporate multiple zombie map elements (free fall, broken veil, etc.), and the news has sparked heated discussions in the player community.
The first season of "Black Ops 7" will bring a large number of new weapons and features to the free-to-play War Zone: Although the Jetpack was not added as expected, the all-round mobile system will be evolved (supported two-stage jumps) and the controversial tactical sprint mechanism will be removed. The specific time of the first season is not yet determined, but "Black Ops 7" will be officially released on November 14.
