"Metal Equipment 3RE" PC performance test: It is difficult to stabilize 60 frames if the low image quality is 4060!

"Metal Equipment 3: Remake" will be officially released on August 28 and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC platforms. Recently, YouTube blogger GeraltBenchmarks conducted performance tests on the PC version of this game. He used the RTX 4060 graphics card to conduct tests at different image quality and resolutions, but the results were not ideal.

According to the test, although at the low image quality of 1080P, the game's frame rate is difficult to stabilize at 60 frames, usually staying at around 55 frames, and sometimes even dropping below 50 frames.

Under the image quality setting in 1080P, the frame rate has dropped significantly, basically maintained between 35-45 frames, and it is difficult to break through 50 frames. After turning on DLSS4 quality mode, the frame rate has slightly increased, stabilizing at around 50 frames.

At the highest image quality of 1080P, after turning on the DLSS4 quality mode, the frame rate is still between 35-45 frames.

When at 2K resolution, medium image quality is turned on, the frame rate is between 25-35 frames; after turning on DLSS4 balance mode, the frame rate is increased to 40-50 frames; while in DLSS4 performance mode, the frame rate reaches 50-60 frames.
