At present, at least two complete Pixel 9a unboxing review videos have been uploaded to YouTube, published by two YouTubers, The Mobile Central and Sahil Karoul.

The packaging of the Pixel 9a will continue the design of the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro series, using a full paper material without plastic film. The selected specification will be indicated on the back of the box, with a known screen size of 6.3 inches and a storage space of 128 GB. Sahil Karoul also mentioned that there is another 256 GB version to choose from, with 8 GB of memory and equipped with a Tensor G4 processor.

In terms of appearance, the Pixel 9a adopts the design language of the Pixel 9 family and is equipped with an almost completely flat dual camera module. The Mobile Central notes that although the back cover is made of plastic, it is well-treated and does not look cheap.

The Pixel 9a's 6.3-inch screen continues the previous "thick border" style, and the border width is criticized as one of the widest ones on the market. The screen resolution is 1080P, supports 120 Hz refresh rate, and the surface is covered with full-plan glass, but it uses an older version of the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

In terms of camera, the Pixel 9a is equipped with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and the front lens is also 13-megapixel. In terms of static shooting, Google still demonstrates excellent tuning capabilities, and the imaging is quite clear whether it is day or night. However, the video shooting performance is relatively weak, and the anti-shake and low-light effects can only be considered average.

Google has not officially announced the release date of the Pixel 9a, but there are rumors that it may be released suddenly as soon as March 19.
