The 4K trailer of "Era 117: Roman Peace" is back in the recruitment of the Governor
Ubisoft released the first live game trailer for "Anno 117: Pax Romana" today (20th). As the latest work in the classic sandbox game "Anno" series, it embodies the theme of the Roman Empire in 117 AD.
The player will transform into the newly appointed governor of the Roman Empire, and will go to various parts of the empire to establish and govern multiple provinces, from the glorious "Latinum" inland to the mysterious Celtic wetlands of "Albion", which is a wilderness that even the Romans do not want to set foot on.
Become the legendary Roman Governor
Players will be able to build their dream city at the heyday of the Roman Empire. From choosing a site for their first villa to how to operate the taxes back to Rome, it is necessary to balance the needs of the people and the emperor's demands.
There are options to demonstrate their military strength through trade and diplomacy and other governors, or to engage in strategic land and modular naval warfare with opponents. You can even resist the emperor, but you will inevitably have to pay a price to do so.
Determines your province's destiny
As a player of the Governor, every choice is crucial. Should we embrace the local Celtic culture, or impose Roman traditions? From architectural style to the deities worshipped, and to what extent the province is "Romanized" depends entirely on the players.
Do they want to promote growth through diplomacy and deepen economic links, or to use force to expand their territory? Or do they want to be loyal to the emperor or incite rebellion? Players' choices will not only affect the future of the people and the province, but will also write their own legendary stories.
Players will build their provinces with unprecedented scale, details and degrees of freedom. From the children chasing dogs on the streets to the spectacular scene of thousands of people cheering in the arena, the provinces under their rule have grown from a small settlement to many timeless cities spanning several provinces.
From islands on the horizon to distant mountains, players can develop almost all the terrain that comes into view, and everything will be presented in the top visual effects quality of this type of game.
Age 117: Peace in Rome, developed by Ubisoft Mainz Studios, is the premier construction game, allowing players to fully control every detail of the city. How players build governance will determine their story, the destiny of the people and the future of the province. In this realistic and intoxicating world, the cost of peace is up to the players.
"Epoch 117: Peace in Rome" supports cross-platform play and cross-platform progress, and will be launched in the winter of 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect) platforms.
