Larion's account has been temporarily renamed to lead to speculation: "God Realm: Original Sin 3" is under development?
After saying goodbye to "Bad Gate 3", Larion seems to be returning to his core IP "Divine Realm" series. Following the end of "Bad Gate 3" with patch No. 8, the studio has confirmed that it is developing two new works simultaneously.
Although the studio stated that the new work would not be released until 2028 at the earliest, Larion seems to have hinted at the direction of one of the projects - as expected, it is likely some form of the "Divine Realm" series.
Many fans of social media found that Larion Studio suddenly updated its official account information in a comprehensive manner. Some players noticed that their official account was temporarily renamed "@Divinity" and it was restored to its original state after a few minutes. Larian has now restored his social media account to the regular "@Larianstudios". This move may herald the studio is preparing to announce a new "Godlands" project in the near future.
Since 2002, the "Divine Realm" series RPGs have always been the core IP of this Belgian developer. Over the past two decades, the series has released seven games (another cancelled "Godlands: Fallen Heroes". Before "Bad Gate 3", Larion released two works in the "Godlands: Original Sin" sub-series. These two complex CRPGs laid the foundation for his development of the "Dungeons and Dragons" game. It is not yet certain whether the new work is "God Realm: Original Sin 3" or a brand new sub-series.
With the great success of "Baode Gate 3", Larion is expanding its scale significantly. The studio has established a new narrative department in Guildford, England, aiming to create a larger and more profound story system for future games.
