Aug 13 2025

AMD's entry-level graphics card RX 9060 8GB recently launched performed well in its first test. Technosaurus review shows that it easily surpasses the NVIDIA RTX 5050 8GB at the same price at 1080p resolution, and the performance is close to the higher-order RTX 5060 8GB and RX 9060 XT 8GB.

In the specific test, the card maintained an average frame rate of 60FPS or above under the highest image quality of many full HD games, which is about 20% faster than RTX 5050 8GB, and is even more than twice as fast as in "Red Dead Redemption 2". Compared to the RTX 5060 8GB, it is only 2% slower than the RX 9060 XT 8GB, but it is more competitive.

In terms of hardware parameters, the RX 9060 8GB is based on the Navi 48 architecture, supports FSR 4, is equipped with 28 computing units (1792 stream processor), 56 AI accelerators, and is equipped with 8GB GDDR6 video memory (128-bit bit width, 288GB/s bandwidth), power consumption is 132W, and only 8 pins are required to power.

Disfortunately, this card is only for the OEM and complete machine markets, and DIY channels are not yet open. The price in South Korea is about RMB 1,800-2,000 (basic/high-end model).
