Friday the 13th: The Game, which was once loved by horror game fans, may be expected to return. With the latest press release exposed, Jason Voorhees' legendary killing path may begin again!

As an extension of the classic horror movie series, "Friday 13: Game Edition" allows players to play the role of a teenager in the camp to escape from Jason, or in turn manipulate Jason to hunt other players. The game quickly received high praise after it was launched. Unfortunately, due to complex copyright disputes, the game was removed from the shelves a few years ago and eventually stopped server services, which made many fans sigh.

However, recently, YouTuber fanci found that in a latest press release released by Striker Entertainment, it was clearly mentioned that Friday the 13th: Game Edition will be part of Jason's IP expansion plan, bringing a new way to interact with Jason's worldview.

The press release states that Striker Entertainment has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with Horror Inc. and Friday 13th LLC to jointly manage the global consumer products of "Jason Universe", including "Friday 13: Game Edition" and the series "Crystal Lake". This move hints that the game is expected to be relaunched or further remake and expand.

Although there is no specific restart schedule or game content details, some fans speculate that Gun Interactive, the publisher who was in charge of the game, may have gradually transferred resources to return to Jason's camp from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" to focus on restarting this asymmetric battle horror game.

The next "Friday of the 13th" is in June this year, and there may be surprising official news at that time. Regardless of the outcome, players are undoubtedly ready to step into the dark forest of Crystal Lake again.
