Recently, a former Firewalk studio developer who participated in the development of "Star Ming Special Attack" shared his views on the game development process, player feedback and subsequent impact in an interview. He described this work as "the most beautiful car we crashed with ourselves" - a project with great potential but failed to find its target audience.

The developer recalled the pride when "Star Ming Special Attack" was first released, saying that it was the day when he was willing to "charge" for the company. After leaving the job, what he missed the most was the team atmosphere, describing his colleagues as talented, friendly, caring for each other, and creating a supportive and equal and respectful working environment. He also mentioned that the studio has set up a space for women that has never been shared before, reflecting inclusive initiatives.

Although the studio is full of enthusiasm for the game, the public response is more severe than expected. The developers originally believed that the reviews would improve as players experience them themselves, but the number of players in the beta version was much lower than expected, while media and online comments quickly focused on the shortcomings of game performance and ignored its core content. Developers say this has led to the impression of "failed games" that many people have developed before they experience it.

He admitted that the studio failed to clearly convey the creative vision, which led to a gap between him and the players. He believes that one-to-one communication could have broken doubts, but publicity for the public has never worked. He also mentioned a culture of "supporting high-profile failure", where commentators and audiences are eager to make negative comments and ignore the efforts and efforts of the development team.
