2XKO Director: The starter may be a bit bumpy, but promises to continue to optimize

"2XKO" game director Xiao An Rivera admitted in an interview recently that this "League of Legends" fighting derivative work developed by Riot Games may not be smooth sailing when it starts. He said that the development process is challenging because many members of the team are leading new projects for the first time and cannot reuse existing resources like traditional fighting games such as Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.

Rivera pointed out that the team is trying various content with an exploratory mindset, which also means that the game may experience a "bumping period" when the game starts early access in October. He admitted: "We will inevitably make mistakes, some attempts will succeed, and some will fail." But he emphasized that the team will continue to optimize and hopes that players will have some expectations for possible problems in the early stage.

In addition, Rivera also mentioned the relatively streamlined hero lineup in the early stages of the game, explaining that all characters were produced from scratch, but there is already a large reserve of heroes in different development stages, which will be gradually launched in the future. Although the start may not be easy, the team is committed to long-term polishing and driving the game to continue to evolve.
