GamesRadar+ interviewed producer Theuns Smit. Smit explained that "Killer" and "007 Dawn" will bring completely different experiences to players. He revealed that since the official announcement of the game, IOI Studio has attracted many new talents and the new and old teams have achieved deep integration. The new members bring “a brand new perspective and expertise”, while the studio continues to move forward steadily with 25 years of development experience at IO Interactive.

  However, Smit emphasized: "The original intention of "Killer" was to bring a specific experience to players, but Bond is not. He is by no means a skin-replacement work for "Killer"."

  In addition, Smit also focused on driving gameplay in the game, saying that this is "one of the biggest challenges" in the development process. To this end, the team specially introduced engineers with experience in racing and vehicle system development, responsible for code writing, architecture building, tuning and balance.

He pointed out that the difficulty of development lies in making the vehicle both "stimulating, real and dangerous" qualities, and being "easy to get started and interesting", thereby attracting a wider group of players. Although this is a completely new journey of exploration, they firmly believe that they have found a "stunning balance point".
