"Dinosaur Hunter: Origin" was released in TGA in 2024 and was developed by the Madrid Studio. The team size is about 250 people and has been produced in nearly five years. Recently, the game showed a playable version for the first time at the Cologne exhibition, and the developer revealed more information.

According to reports, the single-player plot of "Dinosaur Hunter: Origin" is about 15 hours, and the story is related to the works of the early 1997 generation. The protagonists not only need to fight dinosaurs, but also fight against the alien civilization Xenia, who are trying to exterminate humans. Players will explore multiple planets, traveling through ancient temples, canyon deserts and dense jungle areas.

In terms of gameplay, the game supports three-person online cooperative shooting, and each character has unique weapons, passive bonuses and ultimate skills. During the battle, players can defeat enemies to extract Echoes to unlock real-time abilities. Although the level structure is relatively linear, the game provides execution actions and partial hook and claw interaction. The first/third person switching function that fans of the series are expected has also been implemented.

The highlight of the demonstration was a boss battle with the enhanced Triceratops. Not only can the monster rush, it also teleports and releases lightning. The developer revealed that these dinosaurs have been controlled by alien technology.
