"Ghost Warrior: The Way of Sword" is not as difficult as Soul Travel! Avoid players withdrawing from the game
Recently, Satoru Nihei, game director of "Ghost Warriors, Sword Way", shared the game design concept in an interview, emphasizing that while the game remains deep and challenging, it avoids players giving up halfway.
It is reported that this game has prepared two difficulties, and the plot mode is easier for players to get started. Nihei said that in order to improve playability, the game numerically reduces enemy attack power, while adding more obvious prompts to the UI design, including on-screen key prompts and providing looser input judgments.
Producer Akihito Kadowaki added that the team's goal is not just to lower enemy parameters, but to make the series' iconic "parade" and "flash" operations easier to get started.
The official emphasized that "Ghost Warrior: The Way of Sword" will not be as harsh as the soul game, but it will not allow players to pass the level easily. The development team pointed out that death is inevitable in the game and players need to "learn in death and keep moving forward."
At the same time, the game has also designed a help mechanism to improve attack power, unlock new actions, extend the duration of skills through the growth system, and expand the overall ability, encourage players to persevere and ensure that players of different levels can get a sense of accomplishment.
