The matchmaker in "Sword Star" has been launched! Which of the three dubbings do you like the most?
The Chinese dubbing of "Stellar Blade" has been officially launched on PS5 and PC platforms this month. Players can now freely choose Chinese, Japanese or Korean to experience the game. Japanese dubbing, which was previously exclusive to the Japanese version, has also been completely lifted in this update, and players of all versions can switch to Japanese dubbing. What surprised players even more was that Chinese dubbing also simultaneously achieved accurate matching of character lip animations, greatly improving localized immersion.
Regarding dubbing preferences, the player community has presented diverse evaluations: some players believe that Eve in Chinese dubbing performed well, but Raven and Cunchi have a good reading phenomenon; some players insist that the Korean original soundtrack is the most infectious, especially the Korean matchmaker in Lily's character is praised as "cute". In contrast, Eve, who is dubbed in Japanese, is described as a "cold and gorgeous style", while Lily's Japanese match is accused of being neutral. There are also players who try to pass the level in multiple languages and find that different dubbing will even affect the interpretation of the character's personality - for example, in the key plot, the Japanese version is more decisive, while the mid-range version strengthens the level of inner struggle.
This dubbing craze also triggered interesting debates: some players teased the Korean "Simida listens strangely", and English dubbing has received partial support because of "can get rid of the constraints of subtitles", while players who are persistent in the original style emphasize that "Korean match is the soul of the character."
