"Soul Armor" is inspired by high fantasy works and focuses on player experience
Digital Extremes, the developer of "Warframe", recently announced the latest development trends of its new fantasy RPG work "Soul Armor". According to senior community manager Sarah Asselin in an interview, the development of Soul Armor is currently progressing very smoothly. In the ongoing Pre-Alpha test, player feedback played a vital role in shaping the game.
Asselin said that Soul Armor is not intended to replicate the success path of "Farmor Armor", but it will adopt a similar long-term operational and community-driven development model. The development team is committed to creating a new, fair and player-oriented gaming experience for players rather than directly competing with other MMORPGs.
The art style of the game was inspired by high fantasy works such as Team ICO and Studio Ghibli. In addition, the game will also introduce a potion production system.
Digital Extremes emphasizes that the goal of "Soul Armor" is to ensure that the game has sufficient depth while allowing new players to easily get started. At present, the development team is working with players participating in the "Preludes" test to find the balance between the two.
