  According to twiv, gaming industry analysis company Newzoo revealed the potential impact of Xbox Game Pass before the release of the annual Global Game Market Report.

Emmanuel Rosier, director of marketing intelligence at Newzoo, revealed in the Game Wise podcast hosted by IGEA that although Microsoft vigorously promotes Game Pass through its acquisition of studios and invests in high-quality content, the behavioral differences between Xbox players and PlayStation players are not significant - the former has neither significantly increased game time nor increased game volume.

  The standard for researching limited "real game play" is that a single game experience lasts for more than two hours. The data shows that although Game Pass users have tried many games, they lack deep investment. Rosier pointed out that the platform's massive game library may cause users to switch quickly, while key data such as clearance rates have not been obtained.

  In addition, Game Pass has a negative impact on the sales of Xbox platform 3A masterpieces. Taking "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" as an example, the actual sales of its Xbox side are significantly lower than those of previous works.
