"Blade of Alien" developer: Continue to pursue higher quality under brilliant achievements

  At present, Monolith Soft has become one of the most important studios under Nintendo. This studio not only carefully carved out many of the highly praised "Blade of the Alien" series, but also participated in the production of many highly anticipated first-party games. Like "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom", "Collection! Animal Crossing, as well as all the games in the "Sprayer" series, are behind Monolith Soft's contribution.

  Although it has achieved amazing brilliant achievements, Monolith Soft has not stopped moving forward. The company's co-founder and chairman Hiroe Sugiura once said that the company will never be satisfied with its existing achievements and will always pursue higher quality as its goal.

  In a related interview with Monolith Soft's 2025 company brochure, Hiroe Sugiura was asked about his goals and dreams for the future. He responded: "Compared with the company's first establishment in 1999, the number of employees has increased significantly. We have three development centers and have participated in the production of many large-scale games. But in my opinion, the so-called success or achievements are far from satisfying. As long as Monolith Soft still exists, we will never be content with the status quo, but will continue to pursue higher quality."

 It is worth mentioning that Monolith Soft just launched its latest game, Alien Blade X: Ultimate Edition this week. This game is a Wii U role-playing game remastered for the Nintendo Switch platform. An interesting news came out this week. The game has a hidden mode, which can run smoothly at a frame rate of 60 frames per second when turned on.
